This was a long long day 13 hour day, with around 20 bands on 3 stages. Halestorm used this festival as a makeup for a rain out a couple months ago. Well, they was on the summer tour with TW, and brought them along! Wooo!! A group of 6 of us from all over the country went to this together, (party at my place for 3 days lol) and got there nice and early. We did VIP everything for this one, and was able to get on the rail dead center for the 2 of 3 stages we spent the day at. Ale's Bass about knocked me over as the row of subwoofers was like 4 feet in front of us. I think everything in my shirt pocket exploded onto the tarmac we stood on. I recorded the entire show, but the audio failed. Like Miserably. It was great to see them play in front of thousands stacked for a couple of blocks deep behind us. They had a little tech issue with the laptop, and no tracks for half the set, but that did not matter one bit! Honestly, they can play without them, and it still sounds soooooo goooood! After they finished up, we all changed stages, and headed over to the other side of the massive grounds. Got center rail again. (Heh Heh) I looked behind us to see DPA jamming and dancing away like everyone else. Waved and they fist pumped back. Good Times. We watched more acts play for 5 or so more hours, up until pitch black going on midnight before Papa Roach finished up. Overall a terrific day/night.
