[QUOTE="Gman, post: 692, member: 249"] Yeni..... That was a scorcher with the sun at our backs as it went down. Black TW Tour shirts of high quality material, didn't help us much either. LOL A few memorable things about the adventure, beside the awesome music and performance TW put on that evening.... 1) I had just got off bed rest a couple days prior from a heart attack and 3 operations with 4 stints installed 3 weeks past. I didn't know if I was going to make this show or not. A friend who was a complete Halestorm fanatic, flew in to join me from NOLA the day before, and drive us to the show a few hundred miles away. I left that spot once to get something to drink, use the facilities, and get some merch. Stood at the Rail until Halestorm was over and got to our room at midnight. I stood for 9 hours, after not standing for more than 30 mins for a month. I almost didn't make it back to car from the stage. It kicked my butt. I would do it all over again tho. It was amazing. 2) I met Yeni in front of the stage before The girls started. He seen us at the rail, and approached us to introduce himself. I thought the world of that, and of him for doing such. I knew I chose the right band to support, and that only enforced that decision. the community at large is just as important to me, as I am always full throttle when I stand behind something I believe in.
